Terms of Service

The operating rules for building, listing, selling, and transferring domains through Domainfolio.

Service

Domainfolio helps users discover domain ideas, check availability, build a managed portfolio, publish fixed landing pages, receive verified buyer interest, and track sale or transfer steps.

Some provider actions may be demo or adapter-pending until a real domain registrar, payment processor, email provider, and DNS provider are connected for production.

User Responsibility

Users choose which domains to register, list, price, and sell. Domainfolio may provide AI suggestions, price ranges, copy, and buyer-intent notes, but those outputs are tools, not legal, financial, or investment advice.

Users are responsible for trademark, brand, naming, resale, local law, tax, and business decisions related to every domain they approve.

No Guaranteed Profit

Domainfolio does not guarantee traffic, offers, sale price, resale timing, profit, or passive income.

Projected value, estimated spread, AI score, and suggested price are estimates used to help compare opportunities. They can be wrong.

Managed Domains

When Domainfolio manages registration and DNS, the domain stays in managed custody until a sale transfer completes or the user explicitly exits the managed workflow.

A managed custody exit request pauses the public landing page, opens an operational transfer workflow, and keeps Domainfolio in control until the outbound transfer is completed or cancelled.

Users are responsible for renewal funding and for keeping account, contact, and payout information accurate. Failed renewal payment or provider failure can interrupt landing pages or domain control.

Buyer Transactions

Public landing pages can be viewed without an account. Verified offers require email verification. Buy-now payment requires a buyer account before checkout.

Domain transfer starts only after payment is confirmed or held according to the active payment provider flow.

Commission, Payout, Refunds

Domainfolio may collect a configurable commission from completed sales. The active commission rate is shown in the platform and may be changed by Super Admin settings for future transactions.

Seller payout can be held until transfer conditions are met. Refunds, chargebacks, transfer failure, disputes, and cancelled sales may delay or reverse payout.

Lease-To-Own

If lease-to-own or installment payments are enabled for a listing, ownership transfer occurs only after all required payments and transfer conditions are complete.

Missed payments, disputes, or failed identity/payment checks can pause or cancel the lease-to-own workflow.

Abuse And Takedown

Domainfolio can pause discovery, landing pages, checkout, accounts, or transfers when abuse, illegal use, provider risk, payment risk, or a dispute is detected.

Domainfolio may remove content, suspend accounts, or cooperate with provider processes when required.
